Who we are

Tender Atlas Studio is run by Kieran Lear, who is the data controller for the information described on this page: the person responsible for deciding how it is used and keeping it safe.

What we collect

• Your email address, when you ask us for the free prints or a discount code.
• Which set you asked for, and where on the page you signed up, so we can send you relevant artwork rather than everything we make.
• Email engagement — whether our messages were opened or clicked — recorded by our email provider.
• When you buy from the shop, your email address and what you bought, so we can send your download links and help if something goes wrong.
• If you allow the Pinterest cookie, which pages you visit here, what you add to your basket and what you buy, so we can tell which of our Pinterest ads work. See Cookies below.
• Anonymous visit and speed statistics, from Vercel Web Analytics and Speed Insights: which pages are viewed, where visitors came from, their country, browser and device type, and how quickly pages load. They use no cookies and can’t identify you; order and discount-code addresses are masked before they are counted.

Payment is taken by Onelink, Stripe’s checkout service, which collects your card and billing details under its own privacy policy. We never see your card information.

Why we are allowed to use it

For shop orders, we use your details to deliver what you bought. For the free prints, discount codes, emails and the Pinterest cookie, we rely on your consent: the box on the sign-up form, and Accept on the cookie banner. You can withdraw it at any time using the unsubscribe link in any email, or by emailing us. Withdrawing consent does not affect anything done before you withdrew it, and you keep any prints you have already downloaded. For the anonymous visit and speed statistics, we rely on our legitimate interest in keeping the shop working well.

Who else handles your data

• Klaviyo — stores your email address and sends our emails.
• Vercel — hosts this website, keeps short-lived server logs that include IP addresses, and counts visits and page speed without cookies.
• Google Drive — hosts the print files you download.
• Stripe (Onelink) — takes payment for shop orders as the seller of record, works out and pays sales tax, and sends your receipt.
• Pinterest — only if you allow its cookie: measures which of our Pinterest ads lead to visits and purchases.

These providers may process data outside the UK. Where they do, transfers are covered by the UK International Data Transfer Agreement or an equivalent safeguard. We never sell your data, and we never share it for anyone else’s marketing.

Cookies

We use one advertising cookie, from Pinterest, to see which of our Pinterest ads bring people here and lead to purchases. It is only set if you choose Accept on our cookie banner, and you can change your choice at any time with “Cookie settings” at the bottom of any page.

We also store a few things in your browser that the shop needs to work and that identify no one: your basket, your currency, and your cookie choice. These are not used for advertising. Our visit and page-speed statistics use no cookies and store nothing on your device.

How long we keep it

We keep your email address until you unsubscribe, or after three years with no engagement — whichever comes first. After that it is deleted from Klaviyo.

Your rights

You can ask us for a copy of your data, correct it, delete it, restrict or object to how we use it, or ask for it in a portable format. Email us and we will respond within one month. If you are unhappy with our answer you can complain to the Information Commissioner’s Office at ico.org.uk.
